Feeling creatively paralyzed by loneliness during the winter of 2022, I found solace in regularly sitting down at my synthesizer with no expectations. Most often, I would start by holding a static chord and using only the knobs on the panel in front of me to gradually create movement. When it seemed like I had reached the limits of the patch that emerged from this process, I would pause, record an improvised performance, and then retire for the night.

What you're hearing are the seven unedited recordings that resulted from this routine: just stereo audio from a single source with no effects, overdubs, or additional takes—just me, alone, with the Prophet-6. Thank you for listening.
